Good morning all, a big congratulations to Ross Skeate and the rest of the Sharks XV for winning their warm up match in George against the SWD last night.  A scoreline of 35 – 22 is one to make us Sharks supporters just a bid more relaxed toward the start of the Currie Cup.

But now to our newest signing of a week ago and to see what he can bring to this season that lies ahead.

Go and take a look at this video and rest assured that this signing was not in vain

  • Very cool and very well done.

My laaitie absolutely loved it which is what I guess the point or target audience are!

Now get your marketing guys to do a monthly 1 minute video about Sharkie like this for the kids.

  • Yip well done Sharks.

I hope this silences the doubters.

So we didn’t try and follow any of the other unions we once again lead the way with the mascot and putting it to video.

  • @Ben (Comment 5) : It’s the new Shark, running through the stadium, on the pitch and scoring a try (eventually  ) You need to watch it.

The video works on my phone.

  • @Morné (Comment 1) : In the official release there was something about it being a period cartoon or something, so I suspect there will be more than just this one.

  • @Morné (Comment 1) : Good idea. They had an insert on Sharkbite this morning on the making of the cartoon. Lots of work (processes) and time involved. Very interesting

  • @Salmonoid (Comment 16) : I watched it as well. Imagine how much work it is to make and 120min feature film, the likes of Toy Story, Gnomeo and Juliet etc. It’s pretty amazing.
