Two provinces will benefit from being released from Springbok duty, as Western Province welcome back the backline pair of Juan de Jongh and Gio Aplon, while the Bulls have Chiliboy Ralepelle at their disposal for the weekend.
Western Province face the Lions at Newlands this weekend while the Bulls take on Griquas and both teams will be delighted to have these players at their disposal, especially as this is the first time that Western Province has benefited this season.
Earlier in the week the Cheetahs got confirmation that Juan Smith will be available for selection this weekend, but this was hampered as Ashley Johnson was called up in return.

This suggests that Lambie is going to be fullback on Saturday.

That wouldn’t be as much fun. I am only used to seeing the squads announced on Thursday or Friday a la Plumtree style. I have been keeping away from the rugby articles of late as I am finding everyone bitching and moaning about the Boks irritating. It reminds me of 2003 and 2007. It takes away from the excitement of the RWC.
@waje (Comment 4) : oh yeah dude… I feel you on that point!
