Springbok management have issued a press release stating that Patrick Lambie and Francois Steyn have both been cleared to be selected for the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand, kicking off in three weeks’ time.
Steyn has a mild hamstring injury while Lambie hurt his shoulder in the first half against the All Blacks in Port Elizabeth this weekend. Apparently, Lambie had suffered a sprain of the AC joint in his left shoulder.
The Springbok squad to take on the defence of the World Cup will be announced tomorrow night.

Yes just read it now from Franshark.
Really feel so pleased for Lambie. He played really well until the injury.
Good luck Pat. Hope to see his name on the squad leaving for wc tomorrow.
SUPERPAT MY BOY!!!! Now go and win that WC for us.
@Viking (Comment 2) : Yea baby!!!!!!
Captain Obvious says: Lambie Must Play FB, he also says the Francois Hougaard MUST feature in the match day ALWAYS… With him and Lambie that ‘Bokline’ will get moving… Yep ahuh…
Yes yes i was watching tele and its great
GO Lambie and FS bring the cup home
Okay so here is the big question.
Will they both be fit for the 1st game?
I don`t think we should take any chances here.
Lambie should be ” eased ” back into top shape, not rushed back to the bokke!
So inside center for us against the lions in jhb this weekend it is then!
