The final Currie Cup game of the weekend should be a good one, as arch enemies the Cheetahs and the Blue Bulls face off in a game which could end the Bulls’ season. Both teams are hanging around in mid table, and a win will make all the difference for either side.
The Cheetahs have kept the side together that took apart the Leopards last weekend, continuing with Johan Goosen ahead of Sias Ebersohn at flyhalf. Ashley Johnson returns to the back of the scrum and will inject some speed and ferocity to the loose trio.
The Bulls have made some backline changes with the always impressive off the bench Francois Venter getting a chance to start, with Zane Kirchner shifting to his preferred fullback role. The battle amongst the front rows should make for interesting viewing as the Bulls’ Bok frontrow face up to a very young Cheetahs combination.
