Bulls flanker Dewald Potgieter has suffered multiple cuts on his arm over the weekend and had to undergo surgery to repair the damage.
The sad thing for Dewald is that he had just recovered from and ankle injury and was looking forward to the start of the Super 15.
Players like CJ Stander, Arno Botha and Daniel Andonga will be lining up to stand in while he is on the sidelines.
Reports on the Bulls site suggest that he will be out of action for at least 2 months. According to Potgieter’s Twitter feed, the injury occurred in a freak accident as the player tried to open a window and pushed too hard!
Dam I was hoping he would play, easier to beat the Bulls with him in the line up, at least Spies and Stegman is still there

I cant remember how many times I have tried to open a window and cut myself multiple times and required an operation..
