Here’s as bit of an unexpected one – World Cup winning All Black coach Graham Henry has joined Argentina as an adviser!
According to the Argentine Rugby Union, Henry will be given a one-year contract starting in Apri and will advise head coach Santiago Phelan. The timing is quite important, of course, with Argentina debuting in the inaugural Rugby Championship tournament this year, against South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
Henry, who doesn’t seem keen to land another full-time head coach role just yet, looks set to head down a similar path to the one one Jake White took post his 2007 Cup triumph, wandering the globe giving advice, but avoiding responsibility at all costs! Good luck, Graham.
