Blues make changes for Stormers

The Blues team to face the Stormers in Cape Town this weekend has been announced, with Rene Ranger suspended and not available for this weekend’s match.

David Raikuna comes onto the wing, with Ranger heading back to New Zealand.

In the second row, Anthony Boric falls out of the match 22, with Filo Paulo taking his place next to Ali Williams. Piri Weepu continues in the starting fifteen ahead of Alby Mathewson while Ma’a Nonu and Benson Stanley continue in the midfield.

Blues: Lachie Munro, David Raikuna, Benson Stanley, Ma’a Nonu, Sherwin Stowers, Gareth Anscombe, Piri Weepu, Chris Lowrey, Daniel Braid, Luke Braid, Ali Williams, Filo Paulo, Charlie Faumuina, Keven Mealamu (c), Pauliasi Manu.

Replacements: Tom McCartney, Tevita Mailau, Bradley Mika, Peter Saili, Alby Mathewson, Hadleigh Parkes, Ben Lam.

    That was said just to rub in the salt.. HEY RICH!!!
    I already had 6 players not playing last week, now one is injured out for the rest of the season(Kaino) and now Ranger heading back to NZ…
