The Stormers have announced their squad to tour Australasia for four weeks, with the biggest omission being that of their Captain Schalk Burger, who is still not close to pulling a rugby jersey over his head.

The full match 22 that beat the Bulls this weekend will be joined by Siyabonga Ntubeni, Nizaam Carr, JP du Plessis and Deon Carstens on the plane to New Zealand, where they take on the Highlanders on Saturday.

Jean de Villiers will continue as Captain in the absence of Burger, as the Stormers go into round seven of the campaign as the only remaining unbeaten team.

  • @Ben (Comment 14) : we’re going to need about 3 different Bok teams to accommodate all Hendrik’s captains. Maybe we should make Straeuli coach again, then everyone can have a go?
