The Stormers team to take on the Highlanders in their first tour match this weekend has been announced, with only one change coming to the starting team that beat the Bulls at Newlands last weekend.
News24 reports that Frans Malherbe takes over from Brok Harris in the front row as coach Allister Coetzee continues to rotate and take care of the physical well-being of his players. The second partnership of Eben Etzebeth and Andries Bekker continues while Rynhardt Elstadt, whgo actually is a flank in life, continues on the side of the scrum, with Nick Koster sitting on the bench.
The backline is unchaged, with the strong running backs of Habana, Aplon and Pietersen sure to give the Highlanders defence something to think about.
Stormers: 15. Joe Pietersen, 14. Gio Aplon, 13. Juan de Jongh, 12. Jean de Villiers (captain), 11. Bryan Habana, 10. Peter Grant, 9. Dewaldt Duvenage, 8. Duane Vermeulen, 7. Rynhardt Elstadt, 6. Siya Kolisi, 5. Andries Bekker, 4. Eben Etzebeth, 3. Frans Malherbe, 2. Tiaan Liebenberg, 1. Steven Kitshoff
Substitutes: 16. Deon Fourie, 17. Brok Harris, 18. De Kock Steenkamp, 19. Nic Koster, 20. Louis Schreuder, 21. Burton Francis, 22. Gerhard van den Heever

This is going to be one of the better matches this weekend to watch!
“Habana, Aplon and Pietersen sure to give the Highlanders defence something to think about.”
mmmm Harris on the bench will have an effect on my FL selection.
