The second game of the weekend, and the first Friday night game in a while, has the Lions hosting the Brumbies, who are fresh off a good performance against the Bulls last weekend. The Lions, coming off a bye, will be hoping to hit some form as the second half of the season gets underway.
The Lions have continued with Jaco Taute in the midfield as youngster Andries Coetzee continues at fullback. Maties rookie Grant Hattingh will make his debut from the bench should he be used, as the Lions continue to struggle in the line-outs.
The Brumbies outscored the Bulls five tries to two last weekend, picking up two bonus points at fortress Loftus, and will be aiming to pick up at least another four points this weekend. Jake White, having previously been involved at the Lions, will make it a personal matter to do well.
