Finally 21, and legally able to do everything I’ve been doing since I was 15! 
Born in the North-West town of Potchefstroom, today, twenty one years ago, I am sure his parents, Dries and Delia, had big dreams for their bundle of joy! All 4,860 kg of him! Although I have learned that it was only around Grade 11, that the once short and stocky bloke all of a sudden shot up and became the gentle giant he is now.
In the case of this fantastic family, I think success has come well deserved. Through hard work and perseverance, because I am sure, dissapointment there was plenty of.
Not only has Marcell turned out to be a sensational player, someone a team can rely on to give 100% all the time, but he is also a guy with values and his head straight on his shoulders! And I have experienced that for myself. Humble. Down to earth. And A SHARK!
