News from the Bulls camp is not much better than from the Stormers camp this morning, as it has been confirmed that Deon Stegmann, Jacques Potgieter and Frik Kirsten will all be out of Super Rugby until after the International break.
Jacques Potgieter’s injury has been confirmed as a dislocated knee cap, and will be out for between 6 and 8 weeks, meaning he will be back with two or three rounds of Super Rugby to go before the play-offs.
Deon Stegmann must have the worst luck in this Bulls side, as he returned from an earlier injury this weekend, only to fracture his forearm and be ruled out for another 4 to 6 weeks. Another fracture, this time to Frik Kirsten’s hand, sees him also ruled out for between 4 and 6 weeks.
On the positive side though, both Dewald Potgieter and Wynand Olivier are available for the match against the Highlanders this weekend, with Potgieter’s return a well times one as the loose forward injuries start to mount.
The Bulls take on the Highlanders on Saturday morning South African time.Tweet
