Not only did the Chiefs lose their unbeaten run of 8 games this weekend, but there is concern that they might have lost their star centre in the process.
SuperXV.com reports that there is a chance that Richard Kahui could be ruled out of the remainder of the Super Rugby season, after falling awkwardy and potentially dislocating his shoulder against the Reds on Sunday.
Scans today will reveal the extent of the injury, but it is very likely that the player will see no further action this season. Kahui has formed a formidable centre combination with Sonny Bill Williams, and the two have been the form centres in New Zealand, both receiving the nod from New Zealand coach Steve Hansen.
The Chiefs have a bye this weekend, after which they face the Bulls in Hamilton.Tweet
