Newly capped prop Coenie Oosthuizen will take no further part in the Test series against England, after team doctor Craig Roberts ruled the big Free-Stater out of action for at least two months.
Oosthuizen reportedly had a sore neck after the match, and Dean Greyling of the Bulls was called up as cover. Scans and further investigation confirmed a mildly bulging disc in his neck, which requires treatment that will see the prop miss the rest of the Super Rugby campaign as well.
Dean Greyling is expected to take Oosthuizen’s spot on the bench for the second test against England, taking place at Coca Cola Park, Johannesburg.

He is decent at SR level (at times) but I can’t stand the fact that he is always in the backline and even stands in the flyhalf channel
Malherbe would be a much better bet but Cilliers certainly deserves a call up too!!

every time coenie switches to tighthead he gets this injury, same thing happened in october last year when wp nel was injured and coenie switched….same injury smit suffered after also playing tighthead…
no wonder Os said “is jy mal” when asked if he’d play tighhead.
