Thankfully, the one and only Australian derby for the weekend, but with the Brumbies having to beat the Waratahs, it should be a tough battle, and will give some indication as to what the Brumbies will be able to dish up in the playoffs.

The Waratahs had a four week break in which to recover from a tough season so far, but have nothing to play for other than pride, and playing their way into International reckoning. They could do Australian counterparts the Reds a huge favour in winning today.

The Brumbies are in a tight race to the finish, as they try and keep the Reds from overtaking them in the final straight. A win today could make all the difference and almost put matters beyond doubt in the Australian conference.

Can the IRB please make it mandatory for all Ozzie teams to get a scrum coach from outside of Oz?!

Collapsed scrum after collapsed scrum after collapsed scrum.

No wonder the Ozzies don’t watch rugby, they dish this boring rubbish up I’d also rather watch Top Gear Australia :|

Stop changing the laws of the game to fit the Ozzies, fix the Ozzies to suit the Laws of the game :!:

  • So it is the Brumbies in the play-off’s…
the only way Reds can make it…is if they win with a bonus point and the Bulls and Sharks don’t…

  • This whole conference thing does not work …. The ozzy teams are unevenly weighted. They have the elast physical conference and a couple of extra freebee games to boot… Just look at the log, the reds theoretically are still in the competition and if it weren’t for the bonus point yesterday, they would have been ahead of the sharks on wins BUT they have a negative points difference… In the sa and nz conference the top three teams from both have healthy points differences. They tour in shorter bursts.

  • @Hmmm (Comment 4) : Wrong. If the Reds win with a Bonus point and the Brumbies lose without gaining 1 point the Reds will be 3rd.
