Last week we called it, and this week we are just praying for it. Yes, for those who had the guts to back the Sharks away from home, for the last two weekends might I add, would have made a bit of money. Now the question is, can they do it again.

Sharksworld has turned into a black and white mosaic of ‘we can do’ and ‘make history boys’ quotes, but is the belief there that the Sharks can do it? If this is the case, this is your last chance to rake in some good money.

The Chiefs will be short favourites come kick off tomorrow morning, meaning that Sharks fans could climb in on some pretty high odds. Personally, I will be backing the Sharks to take the cup, it is simply in the stars, and the boys have shown great resolve to get here, and I am sure they will not let it slip at the final hurdle. You can make a quick 200% return on investment if you want:

Chiefs – 4/10
Sharks – 21/10
Draw – 25/1

The above odds are on 80 minutes, where a draw is very possible. My money will be on the Sharks though.

Moving on to things to come, the Currie Cup kicks off next weekend, with the Rugby Championship kicking off the following week, so there is also scope to call an early winner in either of these competitions:

Rugby Championship:
All Blacks – 6/10
Springboks – 3/1
Australia – 33/10
Argentina – 28/1

The Currie Cup odds will be released in the week, so tune in next week for that.

For those interested in the smaller ball, the second test match between the Proteas and the Poms also have some bets available, especially with Marshalls offering ‘in running’ betting, which means that you can bet as the game evolves, with betting on which man will be next out, spread betting on individual and team totals, as well as normal win/loss odds:

Proteas – 16/10
England – 5/2
Draw – 14/10

Finally, we have a few Olympic bets for you as well, thanks to the awesome Marshalls website (these will be updated during the day, so keep checking in for the swimming odds due to be released later today):

100m Men Gold:
Usain Bolt – 7/10
Yohan Blake – 17/10
Tyson Gay – 12/1

For interest sake, certain individuals got 10/1 odds on Chad le Clos beating Michael Phelps to gold two nights ago, so it is well worth a look.

For any other odds or questions, please do not hesitate to drop a mail. If you are interested, click on the Marshalls banner at the top of the page and have a look around. (No need to register to just have a look). – [email protected]
