The All Blacks have gone for consistency in naming their team to face Australia in the second Rugby Championship match this weekend, making a single injury enforced change to the front row.

Wyatt Crockett comes into the front row to replace Tony Woodcock, who suffered a rib injury in last week’s match against the same opposition.

The All Blacks look set to retain the Bledisloe Cup this weekend, winning the second of three matches that decide the trophy.

New Zealand: 15-Israel Dagg, 14-Cory Jane, 13-Ma’a Nonu, 12-Sonny Bill Williams, 11-Hosea Gear, 10-Daniel Carter, 9-Aaron Smith, 8-Kieran Read, 7-Richie McCaw (captain), 6-Liam Messam, 5-Sam Whitelock, 4-Luke Romano, 3-Owen Franks, 2-Keven Mealamu, 1-Wyatt Crockett.
Substitutes: 16-Andrew Hore, 17-Ben Franks, 18-Brodie Retallick, 19-Victor Vito, 20-Piri Weepu, 21-Aaron Cruden, 22-Ben Smith

  • Consistency in selection nothing new from the AB as expected. With Smith soon back they will put 20 points on any of the other participating members in this competition. As long as their front row, Mccaw, Reid, Carter and Smith is around their golden age will continue they can really just go on S15 form in the other positions as long as the above mentioned crowd is there. The rest of the world just dont have that!
