The front row sees the Deon Carstens return from his broken nose, allowing Steven Kitshoff to take a break on the bench. Deon Fourie shifts back to flank while Rynhardt Elstadt returns from injury on the other flank, and Canadian Jebb Sinclair completing the forward pack.

In the backs, Dewaldt Duvenhage starts, with Louis Schreuder missing the match 22 altogether, and JP du Plessis filling in for Bok again Juan de Jongh at outside centre.

On the bench, there is a potential debut in Helmut Lehmann, while Nic Groom will get his first game time of the Currie Cup, and Damian de Allende comes onto the banch as cover.
