The battle of the house cats is our second match of the weekend, as the Cheetahs host the Lions in Bloemfontein, the Lions coming off a good win over the Bulls last weekend, to sit pretty at the top of the log.
The Cheetahs have dropped Sias, starting with scrumhalf Tewis de Bruyn instead, with Nico Scheepers having to do the goal kicking. We also see a return to action for Hendro Scholtz, who will face off with one of the better eigthmen in the Currie Cup this season, Warren Whiteley.
The Lions have made no changes to their team, allowing Jaco Taute another performance off the bench to get match fit, before throwing him into the deep-end. All the rumours surrounding Elton Jantjies will be firmly left at home as he continues to push his team to the defence of the Currie Cup crown.
