We finally have our hands on the signed Sharks jersey that any Sharks fan should want to own.
The jersey is signed by current Sharks players Jacques Botes, Wiehahn Herbst, Paul Jordaan, Louis Ludik, Lwazi Mvovo, Sbura Sithole, Brynard Stander, Riaan Viljoen and Tim Whitehead.
The goal of the auction is to raise funds for Wynand van der Watt, after his sad passing (details of this in the original story we did), so please get involved if you can.
The starting bid will be R1000 and we will be going up in increments of R50. In order to place your bid, you need to be a registered user on Sharksworld and you need to submit your bid as a comment on this thread. The auction will close on Wednesday 12pm South African time (17 October 2012), after which the winner will be announced for both the auctioned jersey as well as the raffle jersey. To claim the prize, the money needs to be transferred to us no later than Thursday afternoon 5pm, failing which, the jersey will go to the second highest bidder.
International bidders are also welcome, but need to understand the following additional conditions:
- The price will still be in Rand and we will agree on an exchange rate after the auction closes.
- You will need to pay us via PayPal.
- You will be liable for international shipping charges over and above the sale price.

A late bid does extend the closing time by 5minutes, and if no response or counter offer is received in 5min, the auction will close.

Yes, a late bid extends by 5min, that is the norm with auctions..
So if you had to bid at 11h59, others will have until 12h04 to counter, otherwise winner stands..
