According to the Sharks website this morning, John Plumtree has confirmed that the Sharks came through Saturday’s win over the Cheetahs unscathed and will have all 22 players available for selection against the Stormers this weekend.

Lwazi Mvovo was the only player to suffer a knock bad enough to force his replacement during the game, but otherwise, all seems well in the Sharks camp.

That said, we’ve seen these kind of rosy medical reports from the Sharks camp turn out to be not much more than smoke and mirrors in the past, so let’s keep fingers crossed that there aren’t any real injuries that simply aren’t being reported yet.

  • @Viking (Comment 1) : agree – nothing would please me more than an unchanged 22 this week.

  • @robdylan (Comment 2) : And then some well timed (and not forced) rotations in the coming weeks.
