The Chiefs host the Cheetahs in the only Saturday morning match, a match that will no doubt be very tough for the Cheetahs to win.
The Chiefs have opted to make a few changes in key areas, Augustine Pulu starting ahead of Tawera Kerr-Barlow and captain Craig Clarke starting off the bench. They will still have too much in the tank for the Cheetahs.
The Cheetahs have remained mostly unchanged from the team that went down to the Sharks last weekend, with Sarel Pretorius starting ahead of Piet van Zyl the most significant change.

When do the Kings play the Chiefs? I want to put that in my calendar.
Hate to kick a man when he’s down ,but where is Kingcheetah?
Shame
Where have I seen this before? An SA team plays like men possessed in a derby and than meekly turns around and passes the Vaseline when they face a foreign team.
That Cheetahs back line was useless,even if their forwards were getting the Cuban jailhouse shakedown, I expected a bit more.
Wonder if defense is in their contracts
@Big Fish (Comment 9) :
Anscomb/Cruden/Sam Cane -A shift in power from one Kiwi franchise to another .This will be the twilight of the Crusaders reign of dominance as Mcaw and Carter fade .
Also those two Chiefs locks are really good
Cheetahs looking good for a game vs lions, or even a combo cats team again for 2013
This game didn’t show the differences in two separate performances by the Cheetahs. It showed how far we are behind the Chiefs, because we should have put them away in similar fashion last weekend.
@Talent (Comment 8) : The tjietas didn’t lose by less than 7 points, so their supporters have nothing to celebrate
@rhineshark (Comment 15) : I don’t think that’s a good assumption ,it was a derby at home for them and they are our bogey team AND it was our first game with a soft warm up.
