George Smith might turn out for Australia one last time as it was announced that he is fit and ready to take the field this weekend.

Smith has been instrumental in helping the Brumbies to their spot atop the Australian conference, especially in the absence of David Pocock. The media had their hands full trying to figure out whether Smith will be in Australia long enough to take part in the British & Irish matches, and with an extension at the Brumbies until the end of the Super Rugby season, he may well yet get another Wallaby Cap.

In news from the British & Irish Lions camp, captain Sam Warburton will miss the deciding third test match this Saturday as a result of a hamstring injury. With Warburton out and the Wallabies able to call on another class fetcher, the battle at the breakdown might swing in Australia’s favour.

Both teams are expected to be announced tomorrow.
