The Southern Kings have been forced to make a late change to their starting line up for Saturdays clash against the Stormers.

Director of Rugby, Alan Solomons said Kevin Buys has been withdrawn from the team due to concerns over his back following a knock he took during the game against the Bulls on Saturday.

“Kevin took a knock to the back during the game against the Bulls and is still not 100%,” he said.

“Kevin is replaced by Grant Kemp in the starting 15, who moves up from the bench, with Charl du Plessis moving onto the bench for his debut Super Rugby game,” he said.

The NZ’er assistant coach already left, not so??

    Interesting happenings..

Who should take over down there? Luke Watson, seeing as he is playing so little rugby at the moment..

  • @The Hobbit (Comment 9) : I do not think it will ever happen that these 2 teams will be 1….Well I sure as hell do not hope so….. But then again Kings will most probibly do anything to try and play Super Rugby again after we kick them out later in the Month…..

  • @Lassy_lion (Comment 13) : Logistically it would be a nightmare. Who would be main stadium holder, does it get shared? costs would be a big factor for both Unions and knowing Cheeky….he would want the biggest share.
At least they would have a Soundtrack of it did happen…….

All their matches could be televised on the Cartoon Channel!

@Greg (Comment 3) : @Richard Ferguson (Comment 2) : Not sure about the whole of europe but the little bit I saw last month was like heaven. Oh and the weather was nice as well
