The Sharks have opened season ticket sales for 2014 and the new management team headed up by CEO John Smit have pulled out all the stops to ensure absolutely unbeatable value for the fans.

Here are the things you need to know about 2014 Sharks season tickets:

· Season tickets go on sale from Monday, 2nd December 2013 (that’s today!)

· The Sharks have launched MY TEAM MY TICKET, an on-line ticketing system which goes live today. Please log on to www.sharksrugby.co.za to purchase your tickets.

· Tickets can also be purchased at The Sharks Ticket Office which is opened Monday – Friday (08:30 – 15:00)

· This year fans will be able to buy a season ticket in the Sibaya Super Stand for just R800.00. All season tickets will be valid for the Test Match and all semi-finals and finals to be played at Growthpoint KINGS PARK;

· The first 5000 people who purchase new season tickets or renew their season ticket on-line will receive the new 2014 Cell C Sharks replica jersey, courtesy of our new title sponsor Cell C;

· There are some exciting benefits that have been included in the season ticket deal for 2014. Some of these benefits include:
* Sibaya free-play casino credits;
* Accomodation offers at Sibaya Lodge and Wild Coast Sun;
* Meal vouchers and discounts at Aqua;
* A 50% discount voucher from Mangwanani Spa;
* A 35% discount on all Beats by Dr Dre products;
* Subscription to Sharks Magazine;
* Subscription to the Sunday Tribune;
* 10% discount voucher for The Shark Cage;
* Goodfellas membership for a month.

· The Sharks have introduced a family area which is located in the “P Block” of the South Stand. This is an alcohol- free zone and families are encouraged to enquire about tickets in this area;

· Parents will also now be able to purchase season tickets for their children (under the age of 18) to sit with them in the stands at a 50% discounted rate; This deal is applicable to all zones with the exception of the gold zone.

· The Sharks are committed to providing a unique and safe matchday experience for all patrons and will be introducing exciting elements to enhance fans 2014 matchday experience at Growthpoint KINGS PARK

The introduction of a new R800 season ticket, in particular, is huge. This ticket is 33% cheaper than the cheapest ticket available last year and includes a Test Match – not to mention a Sharks jersey (valued at more than R600) if you get in early.

Get your Season Ticket now and believe in the power of black and white!

  • @Jeremiser (Comment 28) : I think Kings Park is in desperate need of renovations to get it up to international standard.

    Of all the international stadiums in SA (and we have an embarrassment of riches in this regard), Kings Park and Newlands are probably the most run down (never been to Newlands, but from what I’ve heard the facilities are a little dated) – The Cape however makes up for this with Table Mountain.

  • It is with my deepest regret that I am reporting that it seems that they are not honouring the rugby jersey promotion. I have purchase 2 season tickets in the early hours of Sunday and renew my own season tickets on Monday. Both purchases were confirmed via email. I am convinced that I was one of the first 5000 purchases and contacted them telephonically with regards to this.

    The lady at the ticket office I’ve spoken was unable to assist me. I asked her if there was somebody else I can speak to, but no success. She claimed I should wait for another email which will indicate if I was one of the first 5000. I asked when I should expect this mail and she was unable to answer.

    The sharks is my team and I would be very disappointed if they do not honour their statements.

    Rob, kindly provide me with your email address and I will forward you my proof of purchase as per your earlier comment, however what will 5000 Sharks Worlds points mean to me???

    Kind Regards

  • @Dunx (Comment 30) : They did have my correct email address on their system but the wrong cell number, so I am not sure how they sent me the password. I did call them, super efficient answered the call quickly sorted out my problem and I have purchased my tickets for the next year. I love the new scholar tickets system where our kids can now sit with us at a reduced rate. I did have to move away from the gold zone in the main stand to do this but I was planing on it anyway with the red zone at half the gold zone price. Just one bit of advise for all the others who like me don’t read the instructions. To qualify for the scholar tickets you will need to add your kids on under family and friends and then when you choose your tickets it automatically gives you the discount according to their age. I am super impressed with the ticket system it works really well.

    Final fixtures should come out next week.

    Just to be perfectly clear, though – those of you who believe that the Sharks are trying to screw you out of a Test are incorrect. Let me re-iterate. There WILL be a Test at Kings Park in 2014 and your season ticket will include that Test.

  • Not much that Sharks can do if they were told that they will host a test and then sa rugby award it to another union. I do believe Sharks and Sharksworld mentioned a test will be included in season ticket is because thats what was promised to them. If you think Sharks or Sharkworld will lie and/or miss inform you on purpose what the hell are you doing on their sites, go read the Beeld or Volksblad!!!!!!

  • Please allow me to wish all of you a Very Happy New Year …

    In response to my previous comments on this forum, I would like to thank the Natal Sharks for assisting me with my earlier inquiry with regards to the Sharks jerseys. I can now report that I did get vouchers and would therefore qualify for the jerseys.

    I think what made me happy is the unprofessional way I was treated by one of the sales ladies. Fortunately, the issue has been resolved in a very professionally way. I can actually thank them in the way the deal with this issue.

    I am still curious how the Sibaya voucher will add up to the amount mentioned, but I think we will know that in the near future.

    Does anyone maybe know how we can go about in obtaining parking tickets on the outer fields?
