  • Exciting backline, if their forwards can dominate they should do well again this year.

  • F Venter is one of the only players who had a decent cc for the bulls last year. Lood de jager is a young lock to keep an eye on….

  • @KingsArmy (Comment 2) : Daniller seems to be struggling with injury? I reckon Willie is the man, either way

  • Mnisi is a quality player, was very impressed with him for Griquas last year, looks a real handful. I’d pair him with Frans Venter……try Mnisi at 13.

Strange to see lock Bernado playing 6……..hell the guy is 2m tall

  • @KingsArmy (Comment 3) : Didn’t really take much to stand out in that campaign… and yet, I don’t recall him doing much?

  • @KingsArmy (Comment 3) : Agreed……Lood should have toured with the Boks last year.

Venter found his feet nicely in the CC – he is a useful 12, good replacement for Ebersohn and should be backed up my the equally impressive Howard Mnisi

  • @robdylan (Comment 9) : You have a point……but then again Sadie has not shown express pace……and hell we have Fourie back at 13 for the Boks!!

  • Mayb im just being a bit pessimistic but those teams announced dont exactly look too menacing to be honest. Decent loosies but other than that there isnt too much to write home about and there is no depth off the bench. The Cheetahs collective is usually stronger than the individuals so may surprise but on the face of it they could struggle.

  • @SheldonK (Comment 19) : well, if those are their halfbacks, they will struggle.

  • @robdylan (Comment 21) : Well Goosen will come back eventually and play 1 or 2 games before going back to his comfy physio table. Puzzled as to why Piet Van Zyl went to the Bulls- mayb Pretorius is around somewhere – Naka keeping him in cottonwool? haha
