  • You do not need to connect with the punch.should have been a red card to ellis.now just gets away with a penalty and warning?same player that struck esterhuizen in the face with a swinging arm.

  • @FireTheLooser (Comment 6) : 2 slipped tackles.acceleration and outside swerve to beat the last defender was very impressive.

  • Crusaders are messing with the so called Jaguares best team.
The Jags are so overrated it’s not even funny.

  • As much as we enjoy saying SA can’t field six (or 5) competitive teams, can Oz really field more than 2 competitive SR teams?

  • @Bokhoring (Comment 17) : Maybe they are getting to grips with the intense schedule of SR….far more travel than they’d be used to.

  • @FireTheLooser (Comment 18) : Most of them are very familiar with the style of rugby in Europe having played in Heineken Cup. The fast pace (especially the Kiwi teams) of super rugby must also be new to them.

  • @Bokhoring (Comment 17) :
Their Latin temperament allows them to get worked up into a frenzie during the anthems that they can’t replicate in SR.
They remind me of the French in so many ways.

  • @Bokhoring (Comment 17) : @FireTheLooser (Comment 18) : @nortie (Comment 20) : it easy to get worked up for one or two games, it’s however way harder to do it for 15-16 games! I personally think the Argies national team will find it harder to be competitive during the Rugby Championship.

  • @50shadesofshark (Comment 13) : Just think that through. All teams battle in their first year. Give these guys time to get used to the demands of SR. Playing at this level week in week out against quality opposition is no joke. Add the travel, injuries, burnout which you only get used to with experience. Watch them next year. Remember, you have been defending your mate Gary Gold because he didn’t have a full pre-season last year…these guys only got together in Jan. I think the same defence should be used to defend them.

  • @GreatSharksays (Comment 24) : still think their relatively small player pool will hurt their national team as players will have no or little rest period.

  • @GreatSharksays (Comment 24) : i was not making any mention of how the jaguares were playing with that comment ,but just merely putting the finally score on because earlier in the comments section @Bokhoring was asking for the match score.so my comment of 32-15 final score was just to give it through to @Bokhoring and anyone else who wanted to know the final score.

    I agree with you.
I think, especially now with the SR results, their self confidence is taking a massive nose dive.
They started doing well in the RC, but now they are getting whipped week in and week out, they will struggle to believe they can beat the Kiwi and SA side.

Fire the Loser already yesterday compared the Sharks to the French, very similar to the Argies as well.

  • @nortie (Comment 29) : think their biggest problem might be fatigue as their top players will play 23 odd games from March to November without much of a break.

  • @JD (Comment 26) : I actually think a year or two of Superugby is going to make them world beaters. They just need to turn the corner. Their natural ability coupled by athleticism will ensure they rise to the top.
