  • One thing I just can`t understand :

Surely the Sharks knows how long I`ve been supporting them, I`ve got the medical bills as proof after all!

Also it is common knowledge that I throw some few bucks on ” First Try Scorer” on Sportsbet . . .

Why can`t Captain Beast make the time just before they run on, to quickly log on with his state of the art I-Phone, double check who I backed and Keep it in Mind when the Try-Line beckons?
With all my years of faithfull Shark support I`ve racked up, I think this isn`t too much to ask for . . .

  • @Original Pierre (Comment 71) : Yeah, before you even think about what game you want to play (running, kicking) you need to have a solid set piece. Tonight the line outs were a shambles again, last two weeks the scrums. I can give the team some slack on attacking options / handling errors, but no SA team at this level should have such an inconsistent and poor set piece. That is simply unacceptable. We managed one decent maul, the rest resulted in ball being turned over.

This Blues team was again for the taking.

  • Rob Dylan, would you please find out what transgressions we have committed in the past, that we always get the wrong end of 50/50 decisions. All refs will make mistakes, to err is human, but freaking seriously we always draw the short straw. The kolisi kick was the first in many years where we didn’t get boned

  • @jdolivier (Comment 91) : Ref errors cost the Sharks more, because we grid out about every single win. The Sharks will probably grind out a win against the blind school.

  • @Ben (Comment 72) : that was a big issue. although we were behind by 2 we stuffed 3 attacking lineouts in 3 mins. major concern. Franco had good fame otherwise

  • @Bokhoring (Comment 99) : We do have the tendancy to play above ourselves agianst superior opposition, then well below under 13 level against pathetic opposition. From 2007 until 2013 watching the sharks play was an absolute pleasure. Even in losing it was entertaining, now it seems the fun has been coached out of the team. Just wish that just once a captain would have the balls to take his team and just walk off the field after a few biased decisions. Let the rugby bosses try and explain how they can keep that ref if the video proof shows bias.

  • Can remember a sequence of play with the sharks trailing, that the team had enough possesion in a position to play the drop goal.never did go for it.

Your coach making threatening remarks towards a referee may have something to with it.

  • @fyndraai (Comment 105) : True, the damage was done – he should have made it worthwhile and should have dangled him by the ankles with his head in the bog.

Any way can a serial TMO really be called a ref.
