Man we miss Marcel, and how clever is Coetzee taking off PSDT best player on the field, and leaving on Louw.
Seriously how shite is Houghaard on the wing, can’t believe in the entire country we don’t have a wing and need to play a bad scrum half there.
Less said about the entire backline, they look like they are being coached by a sevens player with one seasons Super rugby experience.
Time to bring in help now ,decent help,

  • All Blacks hooker and locks handle and pass better than Bok centres. Also Smith mostly passed to a player hitting the ball at speed, Boks mostly passing to a player standing still.

  • @The hound (Comment 14) : Hound, we are in serious dwang. When people go to SARU/Springbok website the background track should be the ‘Help’ song from the Beatles. Wrong personnel, wrong coach (sorry, probably wonderful people but not the right ones for this); we need a cold-blooded brain like Nick, but not Nick if you know what I mean. I also noticed that by 62′ most of the replacements were on, just because it was the last 20…a bad appreciation of tactics by the coach there. Also, the lions unfortunately contributed pass that led to Habana’s try and a line break, that’s it. Alberts broker Kaino, which gave me joy, and by the way he was the only one punching over the advantage line.

Never. If we played the AB we were going to beat them no matter what . The All blacks are going to lose their respect for us ,now we have nick and naas saying they would do well losing by only 5 pionts. We are losing our identity and most sadly the traditions of the past all those records we had against nations are being broken ,England had not beaten the boks at twickenham since 2006 do you really think we are going to keep this record when we play them in dec.

Renember we were nr 1 in the world in 08 and 09

I think this law says you are mistaken.

    22.11 BALL DEAD IN IN-GOAL
    (a) When the ball touches the touch-in-goal line or the dead ball line, or touches anything or
anyone beyond those lines, the ball becomes dead. If the ball was played into in-goal by the
attacking team, a drop-out shall be awarded to the defending team. If the ball was played
into in-goal by the defending team, a 5-metre scrum shall be awarded and the attacking
    team throws in the ball.

  • Lets be honest the Boks result and performance against the All Blacks was expected. Very few players actually putting their hands up this rugby championship. Will be interesting to see what and where AC goes t from here for the games in SA. I dont anticipate much change but i also have a feeling there might be. and lastly i reckon Malcom Marx either needs to sort out his throwing quickly or become a flank…very uselful guy to have on the field but eish

  • @SheldonK (Comment 33) : Yes I agree regarding Marx. Luckily, line out throwing is something that can be sorted out with practice. He’s a good runner of the ball and currently we don’t have much of them on the field. Faf also needs to calm down a bit, his decision making is sometimes erratic but that will probably come right with some experience. Elton, well he’s 26 so there’s no real excuse regarding a lack of professional rugby time, he’s had his chances and I say we need to look somewhere else. Problem is the only other viable option is Lambie who’s only played 30/40 odd minutes of rugby in the last couple of months.

  • @JD (Comment 35) : Very much so at international level, u could actually see him stress every time the ball went out. When he got a couple right you could see his all round play improve. @Quintin (Comment 34) : Yes throwing can be worked on but its risky business going into a test with a hooker whose throwing is suspect…losing first phase possession is a killer. Harsh to only pick of Faf and Jantjies as i think majority of players arent playing well

  • @SheldonK (Comment 36) : Yeah I know the majority isn’t doing well, I just think they are making more mistakes than the other. Faf just needs time. He played for the Pumas not long ago. Elton though, I can’t understand why some people are still defending him. He’s making a lot of mistakes which can’t be contributed to the team playing badly or the forwards not giving him quality ball. He knocked on in our own 22m just after we scored a try which lead to NZ immediately replying with a try. Missed the penalties, kicks out on the full, kick-off directly out, these are things that are his own responsibility and it put us under a lot of pressure. I would understand an odd mistake here and there, but he made a lot of them.

  • @Quintin (Comment 37) : Yeh look im not defending them and they arent playing well and have made mistakes, but so too have a lot of others. 9 and 10 touch the ball more than the rest and focus area is around them so guess they get noticed more. So not saying they need to be cut a break, just that if they get culled for not playing well there are quite a few others that also need to be added to that list along with them.

  • @SheldonK (Comment 38) : Being in the number 10 jersey you are bound to be getting the ball more and having more responsibility, it’s the key decision making position so you are of course going to be noticed more. It’s part of playing there in the 1st place, you have to be able to play under that extra pressure, the position demands it. If you can’t handle it and make silly mistakes with what are supposed to be your normal responsibilities, you are not good enough for that position. I’m focusing on FH as it’s obviously a more influential position to make mistakes in than other positions are. I feel that with a lot of our players not performing as they should, we could at least not make it worse by screwing up right after we scored, kicking out on the full at kick-off and slotting easy penalties. Like I said, the FH takes a lot of responsibility, it’s part of playing there.
