It was perhaps the lowest quality Six Nations to date, yet the Championship still mustered up a barnstorming finish with Wales ransacking any hopes of an English Grand Slam. The English will look back at a tournament of ‘could have beens’, with perhaps the most unnerving statistic being the fact they were out-scored over five matches by the possession starved Scots. Six Nations: Team of the Week Round Three
Week three of the Six Nations saw wins for Wales, England and Scotland. Italy, missing Sergio Parisse, struggled to make an impact in Rome as the Welsh dominated from the off. Meanwhile in London, Chris Robshaw’s England defeated a resurgent French side, who only had themselves to blame for their second half deterioration. Barritt shines in great English win
England stunned the rugby world in Saturday in surging to a record win over the All Blacks at Twickenham.
