According to early reports coming out of the Springbok camp this week, John Smit looks set to be rested for Saturday’s test against the All Blacks in Port Elizabeth, regardless of his state of fitness or health. The Bok captain is somewhat doubtful for the weekend, having sat out yesterday’s training session with flu, but the indications are that Victor Matfield will lead the side out this weekend whatever the case.
