The 2011 Super 15 tournament has been a major flop amongst the majority of the fans. Even some players, such as 94-test All Black veteran Mils Muliana, have questioned and even challenged the new format. Ironically no one has provided a possible solution to the problem or how SANZAR should proceed to reduce the tournament fixtures. Therefore I have come up with 2 possible variations from the current format, which SANZAR can use to reduce the size of Super 15. For both methods I have explored the possible viewpoints that the players, coaches, SANZAR, team franchises and of course the fans will have.
