Fred Michalak has come through a late fitness test and has been confirmed at flyhalf in the Sharks team to play the Force on Friday night.
This means that Frans Steyn will be at fullback. In a change to the bench, Stefan Terblanche drops out of the 22 altogether, leaving only Rory Kockott and Adi Jacobs as the backline subs, although Craig Burden could probably cover wing if he had to! Both Jean “Wolscooter” Deysel and Albert van den Berg are on the bench, along with a complete spare front row.
The original announcement had Pietersen at left wing and Mentz on the right. Those positions have now also been reversed.
