I think I close game ahead. In the humidity we have in Durbs today expect the bench to be really crucial.
That is where it is really advantage Sharks; with Albert, Jannie, Adi and Stefan – all have been Boks and are quality replacements.
Yoss this is a bit of a cliche but I expect the Stormers to be up to the task for 60minutes and then for the Sharks to pull it through.

KSA thinks he was okay, I don’t think he showed up half as much as expected. He might be described as having quick hands but imo it seemed more like “oh shit I got the ball, someone take it please”

man i forgot how emotional i get when the sharks play, i was pretty foul mooded for most of this game. a win is a win but the performance did not inspire me.
Just checking in here..good match. I was happy with Fred’s work although I think it will take another week or two for him to find his consistent partner in crime when it comes to some of his quick work both hand and boot. I was impressed with the way he withstood some of the hits thrown at him as well as that beaut of a tackle he made down the side.
My man Kockott should be starting @ 9… not RP…
I like Kockott and would like to see him start with Fred. Early reports look like RP will not play in next weeks match but I suppose we won’t know for sure until sometime next week.

The option taking by the Sharks in deciding when to kick for points almost cost them the game! They could have had a much bigger points margin. I never felt they were going to lose, they were the better team throughout!But should put points on the board when the opportunity presents itself!

Odwa had a shocker yesterday! I would love to have seen Stefan in his place! I was at the match & he just looked out of sorts and, for that matter, out of position 🙁 I think he should have been on the sub bench….this was, after all his FIRST game this year.
I was hugely impressed with Freddie…once this backline “gels” they are going to be awesome.
Ruan & Rory are different types of players….and both are great scrummmies, we are blessed ❗ I think Dick is right…start with calm & collected Ruan….bring Rory on as impact player.
It WAS a bit too close for comfort but I will take 4 points,at this early stage, no matter how they came 🙂
This time last year the Sharks were constantly critcised for not getting bonus points and just grinding out wins……more of the same this year? Rather have 4 points in the bag!! Thank you!
