Here are a list the list of squads for this weekends Vodacom Cup action….
From IOL
The Pumas will play scrumhalf Jacques Coetzee in the number 10 jersey against Boland in their Vodacom Cup rugby match in Wellington on Saturday, should the Lions not release Rudi Vogt.
Vogt could be on the Lions’ bench against the Bulls this weekend and the Pumas have had to prepare without their star player.
Coetzee has been selected at flyhalf with reserve scrumhalf Shaun Venter getting a run, but it will change should Vogt be available.
Coetzee will then revert back to scrumhalf, Venter will move to the bench and Hyron Thysse will lose his spot on the bench.
The Pumas have also had to replace two injured forwards for this vital clash. Hooker Morne Kruger injured ankle ligaments which could rule him out for up to six weeks and Gert van Schalkwyk will start his first game in this competition.
New coach Jimmy Stonehouse has also had to replace lock Wilhelm de Jager who injured a groin. Flanker Johan van Heerden moves to the second row and Quintin Minnaar returns to the side of the scrum after injury.
The Pumas lead the Northern Section of the Vodacom Cup competition after two brilliant victories against the Wildebeests and Elephants, but Saturday will undoubtedly provide a much sterner test.
The versatile former Blue Bull amateur star, Willie Kok, has in the meantime joined the Witbank based outfit and will be on the bench.
Pumas: Jiffy Lamprecht; John Noble, Sasha Marot, Jovan Botha. Gordon Pangetti; Jacques Coetzee, Shaun Venter; Marius Webber, Quintin Minnaar, Corne Steenkamp, Johan van Heerden, Nicol Mostert, Ashton Constant, Gert van Schalkwyk, Dawie Steyn. Reserves: Emile Botha, Cobus van Dyk, Martin Sithole, Andre du Toit, Willie Kok, Christiaan Els, Hyron Thysse.
His inclusion at the expense of Riaan Harmse is the only change in the pack for this weekend’s match. Coaches Chaka Willemse and DP Swart have also make two changes to the backs. Scrumhalf Michael Bondisio, who was named Man of the Match in their first match against the Elephants, is recalled to the starting fifteen and Japie Nel starts at inside centre. Bondisio and Nel replaces Theo van Wyk and Basil de Doncker, who move to the bench for this match. Loose forward Bennie Adams has been drafted onto the bench after injuring his ankle in the match against the touring Russians earlier this season. He replaces Ligtoring Landman, who has injured his shoulder. Leopards: Anvor Schooney; Randall April, Deon van Rensburg, Japie Nel, Jan van Zyl; Clayton Durand, Michael Bondisio; Riaan Swanepoel, Jaco Bouwer, Andre Swanepoel, Draad Linde, Antonie Gronum, Dietlov Coetzee, Pellow van der Westhuizen, Divan Kotze. Reserves: Sydney Raaths, Renier Harmse, Rudi Mathee, Bennie Adams, Theo van Wyk, WD Botha, Basil de Doncker. – Sapa |

Deon Fourie sitting his arse raw on a plane to Antipodiville, Liebenberg has a thigh injury and returned home. Bummer.
Who replaces Fourie on WP’s bench?
really, Namboer? That’s a big blow.
Aparently, yes, someone else also just posted the match 22 with SB starting on hooker and Fourie on the bench.
“Jiffy” Lamprecht! Now that is a good one
Hey Villie – Happy Birthday!! 😀
happy bday, Villie
Thanks Nessa
Having a good day…and my little ones sang Happy Birthday to me this morning so that made my day!
Cute man! So how are the girls?
Hi Rob
Thanks for the wishes.
They are great thanks Nessa. Hard work but fantastic. Man, the little one is SOOOO mischievous. She definitely takes after me 😆
She is into everything and anything and is always making life hell for her older sister. We call her the “Terminator”!!
Villie – love that name – unusual for a girl though.
Did you see you share your birthday with Keegan, Jean, Andries, Brent Russell, RD’s mom and many more?
Nope….didn’t realise that but great company to be in! hehe
You should see her when she sees the Sharks or Springboks badge, she gets super excited and starts shouting “Go Go Go” and shakes her arms about.
I have both of my daughters trained well.
Holly takes either “Sharkie” or “Bokkie” to bed with her and Brooke snatches the other one away from her sister!
I will have to wish Keegan on FB tonight!
Too cute man – my little grandson shouts “Go Sharks” and then cruises around the lounge with his little Sharks outfit on.
My little fluffy Shark is called “Butchie” and he calls him “poochie”.
