Just a quick announcement…
Sharksworld is now 20th on the list of “Most Read South African Blogs”, according to www.amatomu.com!
This is a fantastic achievement for us, considering we’ve been in operation for only a month. Thanks to all our loyal supporters. We promise to keep providing the best fresh content and news available out there, so come back often and tell you friends.
Remember, it’s Just Rugby. Just For Fun

Well done RD! That was quick!
The sky is the limit, Ness.
No its not – To Infinity… and Beyond! π
Woohaa go Sharksworld
thanks buzz.
BF – you remind me so much of my son – it’s frightening!
Ness, you’ve clearly never met Fish π
Would that be Waz?
I take it he is a good-looking, funny, intelligent, sexy and humble guy then? π
I’ll definitely take it as a compliment.
But you do realise Nessa, that since you have a daughter, there could be a divine message in this… π
Rob, at least I didn’t go to the same school as Skipper Badenhorst! π
Yes, that would be Waz.
That is something he would have said – without a doubt!
And yes, you can take it as a compliment. π
RD – would be be a candicate for Tiger? Don’t think he could handle her.
“be be” π³
GRRRR
π
The same Waz as on here?
Wow… you look young enough to be his sister π³ π³
Bryce – the one in the left of the photo is me and the one in the right of the photo is his sister.
But I am going to take the compliment anyway! π
Lol Nessa… I’ve seen your pic before on RW… π
Well done for getting a crew together to Loftus… was quite amazed at how many Shark’s flag’s there were in the crowd…
Bryce – forgot about that. So I can take the compliment then? π
It was amasing – in all my trips to Loftus I have never seen so many Sharks fans. It was awesome. I am used to a lot of Sharks supporters at Ellis Park but not at Loftus.
Methinks there might have been some defectors when Vic etc moved on…lol!
Congratulations to rob, the rest of Crew…and off-course THE BLOGGERS…
If the sky is the limit…we’ll have to push it higher…
HAPPY HAPPY, Great stuff Roberto…

Steve Hofmeyr se Spoeg Blok π
congratulations π
Congratulations Robdylan and Sharksworld.
East Coast Radio blogs at 7 and 8, interesting.
Great site this!
thanks BigFAN… it’s only great because we have so many loyal readers and commentators
Good site that amatomu… we’ll be tops list that soon… Robbo do they calculate the most unique hits… and how do they know this figure?
Every time someone accesses a page, we send them an indication… so they count page impressions, but not unique ones.
We use Google Analytics to keep track of unique visitors

The battle to win over the next year….
puts it sharply in perspective, DP… huuuuge mountain still to climb. Then again, huge potential audience still to reach.
We need to make a decision, though and be realistic. We are not a self-funding, professional site, so we don’t have the resources that Keohane does. We can’t pay a team of 5 wannabe journos to sniff out stories all day. Also, as long as we keep our strong Sharks focus, we will limit the potential reach of the site. Change it, and we risk alienating our loyal fan-base. Not an easy thing balance to strike
I think you have done a good thing my involve guys like Walter and even that one eyed Bolander π ….. I think Sharks supporters are Sharks supporters 1st but SA rugby team supporter’s second and that they you can cater to a wider audience.
Hell Keo has WP bias and look where they have got…
But you are right they are a high profile outfit with full time staff but in the world of the internet and blogs, you never know!
Can anyone join?
Don’t like this setup.
All the comments are on the right of the screen.
Shows the political slant.
Hello Dawnie!
Rob, you know my feelings on this particular topic. π
I’d just like to say that I think its great that this site is fun and tongue-in-cheek, but there are no agendas or dark grumblings, while we can enjoy the company of the fairer sex too.
Yip its the Dawn we all now…..it’s funny how much these people from the Cape like their fishing π
Sex is fair, comments on the right, …………….
Ah well. I’ll give it a bash.
Rosy-fingered dawn… how did you wander into Sharks waters?
Looking for some real men for a change? π
A little birdie told me.
Alo Dawn
Hey Dawn
Welcome to the Rugby site with an aversion to politics. π
Little birdie flying high,
Dropped a message from the sky,
Oh said the farmer, wiping his eye,
Isn’t it lucky that pigs don’t fly?
How do you get the pics with your name?
Dawn
click on your name above the comment box and go from there.
Steve Hofmeyr se Spoeg Blok is above you Rob. You have work to do!!!!!
we shall overcome
that blog is just tailor-made to attract the legions of dumbass blue bull fans that are even too think to post on Keo. We could never hope to overtake them.
Spit block?
Block to spit on?
something like that.
I just don’t get that sort of “humour”, I’m afraid π
Uhm,howcome our neighbours arent on that list?Surely they must be thereabouts.
their webmaster clearly isn’t reporting their hits correctly.
Rob makes that sound a bit wrong.
It’s not as if the hits are “reported” and therfore allowing you to “fudge” them. π
PJLD
Maybe the neighbours appear under the political section somewhere
19th now π
Take away the dimwit posts on Keo and he’d be 27th!
some of them are not so bad…
ok i see the advert everywhere. well done. it is a good sign when sites get advertising it means they aren’t dead gooses. even though the ads irritate me by slowing things down.
