Most of us have picked the Crusaders here, so margin and prediction bonus points will be vital. Unless of course fattmann get’s to keep them all to himself. 🙂

although for sharks sake id like tahs to win
oh and good morning everyone
g’mornin guys… thanks for posting the Deans bio KSA, very interesting …seems like nice guys do come first occasionally (he must have that killer instinct too)
i think McKenzie will have the Waratahs up for this game,he’s got points to prove as a coach…i cant see how they’ll do it though, unless Crusaders go off the boil.
mckenzie is a dildo
he always cries like a babe when tahs get whipped
typical aussie
deans on the other hand is a gentleman and a coach of note
Morning guys.
The Deans story is one of those rare “feel good” stories that come out from time to time. I enjoyed reading it.
Deans must have huge “internal” issues at the moment.
He is in a similar boat to what Jake White was. He hasn’t even finished the tournament and is actually doing well in the tournament yet his union is out looking for his replacement.
deans reminds me of teichmann
i say this because of the typ of person they are and how they get people to respond to them
louis luyt said of teichmann being the best capt ever as the players would go through hell for gary
i feel the same can be said for deans ?? the players will do what ever it takes for their coach
i’m looking forward to what tt called ‘the Dick and Deans show’… two best coaches going head to head
I did have a good laught at the Aus guys on their Boots and all insert last night.
In the one breath they were saying that the Highlanders would be coming off of their bye so would be Rusty and that would help the Force beat them. THEN in the next breath they were saying the Waratahs were coming of their bye and therfore were fresher than the crusaders and they may pull off a win.
So which is it? A Bye makes you Rusty? or a Bye leaves you Fresh? 🙄
The Aussies could be used as a classic example of only seeing what suits you best 😉
Need to shoot to the store.
Hopefully be back before kick-off.
GO SADERS
KSA… i dont think there’s any acrimony between Deans and Crusaders, not like JW and the bok administrators
OH MY WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry that was supposed to be Mckensie not Deans. 😳
rest of the comment was correct but i was refering to McKensie not Deans 😳

3 – 0 Saders
3mins
Craig Joubert taking no prisoners.
tahs didn’t open the gap at the LO and get sent 10 for a saders FK
Saders get to 5m out and turn it over to the Tahs. 🙁
Joubert penalises the Saders for playing ball on the ground and them marches them a further 10m for them not giving the ball to the Tahs.
Good to see some decent reffing again
saders knock it on 7m from tahs tryline.
Saders starting to look the better team
Saders 3 – 0 Tahs
20min
Tahs steal Saders Lineout.
Vickerman steals Williams ball.
Good break by Hamilton and then Saders lose it forward in the tackle.
Waratahs are doing an excellent job of spoiling any good ball for the saders
Finally! I’m away from the bloody airport
ehehehhee
Welcome back to SA.
Saders 3 – 0 Tahs
30min
8 Blue in front of the kicker
Saders take scrum just outside the Tahs 22 rather than penalty just outside their own 22.
Saders losing ball forward in the tackle almost everytime.
Saders just don’t seem to be there when they need to be.
morning gentlemen
Mexted is a plonker and a deaf one at that.
Ball comes off a Sader foot at a ruck.
Mexted says: knock-on after 8 phases.
Ref says: off the foot play on.
Mexted (30 sec later): Did he miss it?
crusaders not running away with it like they have been doing so far 😀
Carter kicks it well
6-0 Crusaders
39 minutes
HALF TIME
6-0 Crusaders
Mexted makes Wiese look smart!
Saders in the lead at half time and I ssuspect in the lead with handling errors as well.
Bryce 😆
And his banana kick comments earlier 🙄
Powerade obviously the drinks sponsor for the Saders as the lockerroom footage shows HUGE powerade coolers
Deans looking very calm in the dressing room.
Waratahs don’t gather in the main section of the changing room for some reason.
They are just filtering through it on their way back to the field
time back on…..
waratahs take it up 6 or 7 phases forward and then McCaw steals it.
KSA…agree with you 100% about McKensie re your earlier post…
looks like only a matter of time before Saders open up… hope i’m wrong
Some classics dumb Kiwi comments, plenty of Mexted…
“Nobody in Rugby should be called a genius. A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein.” (Jono Gibbs-Chiefs)
“I’m going to graduate from University on time, no matter how long it takes.” (Rodney So’oialo-Hurricanes)
“You guys line up alphabetically by height.” and “You guys pair up in groups of three, then line up in a circle.” (Colin Cooper, Hurricanes)
Chris Masoe (Hurricanes) on whether he had visited the Pyramids during his visit to Egypt: “I can’t really remember the names of the clubs that we went to.”
“He’s a guy who gets up at six o’clock in the morning regardless of what time it is.” (Colin Cooper on Paul Tito)
Kevin Senio (Auckland), on Night Rugby vs Day Games
“It’s basically the same, just darker.”
David Nucifora (Auckland) talking about Troy Flavell
“I told him, Son, what is it with you. Is it ignorance or
apathy?’ He said, ‘David, I don’t know and I don’t care.’
David Holwell (Hurricanes) when asked about the upcoming season: “I want to reach for 150 or 200 points this season, whichever comes first.”
“Andy Ellis – the 21 year old, who turned 22 a few weeks ago” (Murray Mexted)
“Colin has done a bit of mental arithmetic with a calculator.” (Ma’a Nonu Hurricanes)
“He scored that try after only 22 seconds – totally against the run of play.” (Murray Mexted)
“We actually got the winning try three minutes from the end but then they scored.” (Phil Waugh-Waratahs)
“I’ve never had major knee surgery on any other part of my
body.” (Jerry Collins-Hurricanes)
“That kick was absolutely unique, except for the one before it which was identical.” (Tony Brown-Sharks)
“I owe a lot to my parents, especially my mother and father.” (Tana Umaga-Hurricanes)
“Sure there have been injuries and deaths in rugby – but none of them serious.” (Doc Mayhew)
“If history repeats itself, I should think we can expect the same thing again.” (Anton Oliver-Highlanders)
“I would not say he (Rico Gear) is the best left winger in the Super 14, but there are none better.” (Murray Mexted)
“I never comment on referees and I’m not going to break the
habit of a lifetime for that prat.” (Ewan McKenzie-Waratahs
Coach)
Murray Deaker: “Have you ever thought of writing your
autobiography?” Tana Umaga: “On what ?”
“Well, either side could win it, or it could be a draw.”
(Murray Mexted)
“Strangely, in slow motion replay, the ball seemed to hang in the air for even longer.” (Murray Mexted)
Spyker. cool.
I dunno why I wrote Deans 😳
Saders looked VERY threatening in the first 20 but in the sencond 20 not so much, but i also think it is only a metter of time.
Who woulda thought Nonu would be in there.
Kette is ROTFLHAO at the clubs one. 😆
PALU TRY!!!!!!!!!!
as i was about to say the Tahs are stringing a few good phases together
The Waratah Islanders…
Beale gets the conversion
Saders 6 – 7 Tahs
51min
How glad would i be if the Tahs won this??????????????????
I’ve read those comments so many times, and still have a good chuckle!
Laulala Try !!!!!!!!!!!!
and ONE of those could be John Smit in the S14 final 😳
Carter makes no mistake with the conversion.
13 – 7 Saders
55min
C’mon Tahs, get this done now.
62minutes.
Where are the subs?
Saders gaining more ground per run than they did earlier in the match.
5m out now
saders over.
TMO call from Joubert.
On the line by Mose Tuiali’i
Awarded.
What did JS say in the final…
Conversion Over by Carter.
20 – 7 Saders
65min
margin 13
He didn’t say anything but he could have said: “We actually got the winning try three minutes from the end but then they scored.”
🙂 😳
9 phases for the Saders now 8m out and ref blows for FK.
Stops time and informs Waugh that it seems they are happy to give away FK’s the next one will be a penalty.

70% Saders 😯
27 oh dear
Tahs lose it forward in the pass ON the try line. 🙁
oh my
Ellis and Mccaw subbed off.
77min
how the hell does the saders keep runnin over all the teams? Dick has to start on their game plan against them
carter chips up to the corner again and it is tapped back and hamilton collects and goes over for the BP try.
Was hoping ther would be no BP try. 🙁
Conversion over
34 – 7 Saders Full time
Log updated
Saders go CLEAR at the top
Tahs are 6th
difference between champions and chokers, patience, building phases and playing during the right time of the game.
saders doesnt worry bout giving 1 try per game away, sharks had better up their game if they want bonus points
the waratahs showed the sharks how to do it. defence. but the sharks are going to need to learn patience.
27 margin
namboer Crusaders 26(get’s closest pick point all to himself)
Villie Crusaders 24
Sandshark Crusaders 23
are there any teams left that might stand a chance of beating the saders?
Crusaders have let in 7 tries all season and the Sharks have let in 5.
I wouldn’t be susrprised if neither teams gets a try BP when they meet.
sharks hurricanes and blues
jarson
Blues and Sharks
Hurricanes I am not so sure of.
derbies are the same in every country
the players know eachother so well it can go either way.
to be honest the super 14 is a one man show
all you have to do is see how thery pull together when they get pressure
absolutely brilliant
well done saders
well some one has to stop them and soon lol
uhm sharks does have best defence in super 14 , but they are neutralising it with one of the worst attacks
if attack can be soughted and defence maintained the4n yes sharks will match the saders
maybe this epi tione is just what we need
maybe the lions can injure richie maccaw. the guy should play for the bulls he cheats so much. but it really depends who the ref is during that game. 90% of the crusaders lineouts were skew and neither assistant ref called it. this cannot be allowed.
maybe the refs are favouring nz cause of the rwc scandal lol
Is it possible for the Sharks to catch them, you know, mathematically speaking?
ja, if they lose a game or two
