It aint cheap, innit.
Although I paid £65 to wathc the boks play England at Twickers last year… that’s like 1,050 ront at todays exchange rates.
Oh, and I even got it cheaper through my rugby club…
I paid R350 (least expensive available) to see Lion King in Jo’burg, so 400 bucks to see the world champs in action is probably fair. 🙄
i paid 10K to watch the Boks win the RWC and it was worth every cent.
Wouldn’t mind going to this game. Bloem is only about 3 and a half hours drive and it is a nice weekend away.
Last time I watched the Boks play Wales was at Loftus – Brent Russell still scored 2 tries that day. Great game!
I would be interested to see what a season ticket cost.
In Durban your season ticket includes the Test match. This year it is against Australia, last year it was against the AB’s
the Season ticket also includes any Finals or Semi-Finals played at home.
The KZNRU certainly have their ticket structures sorted.
Hey KSA! I would have thought most stadiums would include all test matches in your season ticket package. I would be mega cheesed off if I had a season ticket and still had to buy my ticket for test matches. What is a R50 discount? Nothing.
Nessa Exactly.
Last year the Guys at Loftus had to pay for their Semi-Final tickets as they weren’t included and same with Bloem for the CC final.
in Dbn everything is covered in our tickets. 😎 That’s howcome we can give away two tickets to the Test as a prize on the Superbru
In fairness they’re normally quite explicit about what is included in your season ticket and what is not.
Some years ago I used to run a hospitality suite at Newlands and even the guys who owned the suite had to reach into their pockets for the test matches… even though they had bought the suite for 7 years…
I thought you were praying in Riyadh KSA?
Vinnie
that is tomorrow dude!!!!
I will be MIA all day. leaving at 04:30 and expected back around 17:00.
Am going to IKEA so will probably spend most of the evening assembling whatever kette bought. 😳
Vin i have no problem with them knowing beforehand that the tickets are not included. I would just be interested to see what a ticket cost at each union and what is included at each union.
Okay gotta go……………….some offers are just to good to refuse. 😎
Night all 😎
lol KSA. Some offers are too good to refuse… priceless.
Waiting for the Perth test tickets to come online… the ARU have announced that all tickets for the series will be at 2005 prices… yes 2005 prices… 😆
Platinum category tickets are $109 against, gold tickets are $89, silver tickets are $69, and bronze tickets are $39.
Exchange rate has powered 23% since the ESKOM debacle to R7.4 to the AU$ 😯
I thought the Boks test against the Welsh that was supposed to be in Bloem was coming to Durban? 🙁
Apparantly SARU announced that it would go to Durban before the agreement had been finalised.
