The Vodacom Bulls’ team doctor Tommie Smook said on Monday that Heini Adams will be on the sideline for one to two weeks after he injured his lower leg against the Highlanders at Loftus on Saturday.

The BBRU reports that Adams received a hard knock on his tibia in the 13th minute of the match but luckily he did not fracture his leg.

Smook said that the damage is at the exact spot where he fractured his tibia in 2007 but this time it is only a soft tissue injury.

“Heini will in all probability be back on the field in a week or so and we will monitor his rehabilitation throughout the week.”

The Bulls have a by this weekend and the players will get a well deserved break after ten weeks of intense pressure in the Super 14.

Except for Adams there are no other injuries in the camp and the team will be at full strength when they meet again in a week’s time.

  • I will be going all out for a Bulls victory over the Tahs. Hope they’re up to it

  • Well if we can pull off a win over the Tahs this weekend, then a Bulls win over the Tahs will give us some breathing room.

If we Don’t win then it will be vital that the Bulls beat them.
