The Blues have beaten the Reds in Brisbane to keep their faint Super 14 hopes alive.
The Blues won 35-22 after leading 20-7 at half-time, reports News24.
The Blues scored four tries through flank Jerome Kaino, flyhalf Isa Nacewa, replacement lock Kurtis Haiu and scrumhalf Taniela Moa. Fullback Nick Evans kicked three penalties and three conversions.
The Reds replied with tries by flank David Croft, lock Van Humphries and wing Peter Hynes. Fullback Clinton Schifcofske kicked a penalty and two conversions.
The Blues’ victory moves them into sixth spot on the log while the Reds remain in 10th.
Next weekend the Blues travel to Dunedin to tackle the Highlanders while the Reds host the table-topping Crusaders.
