A new challenge (or two) awaits for those brave enough to accept it!
Hot on the heels of our ΓΌber-successful SuperBru Super 14 tipping competition, it’s time to carry on with the predicting action. SuperBru have launched their Currie Cup game and already we have over 50 players registered in the Sharksworld pool. Time to pick up the gauntlet and see if anyone has what it takes to unseat Ghost10 from the podium.
Head on over to http://www.superbru.com/curriecup to sign up for the competition. To join the Sharksworld pool, enter the following pool code: ahoydata. I’ll need to approve your request, but don’t worry, I’m really not very picky! Invite all your friends and let’s see how big we can make this sucker. The first game is on Friday 20 June, so be sure to get signed up and make your picks before then.
We have also started a pool for the SuperBru Tri-Nations competition. this one is to be found at http://www.superbru.com/trinations. Again, the pool name is Sharksworld and the pool code teamecho.
For those of you who’d fancy trying your hand at a spot of Fantasy League, the folks over at www.testrugby.com have just launched a new competition covering the 2008 incoming tour series. Pick a squad of 12 players from the best that SA, New Zealand, Australia, England, Wales, Italy and Ireland have to offer and then see how they score over the course of a four-week series. Once that series wraps up, there’ll be a follow-on for the Tri-Nations.
Head on over to http://testrugby.com/intmy08 to sign up and select the Sharksworld pool. There isn’t a pool password required.
I’m also on the lookout for a Currie Cup Fantasy League competition, although I’m not sure there are any out there. If anyone finds one, let me know.
Sign up and let’s get playing, fans.

I’m in for testrugby! Go Blacks!
@Barag (Comment 1) : bring it on!
Just joined testrugby…ready to kick some @ss!
I’ll continue my blogging on my site. Hope it helps. Testrugby has just updated the players lists to include most of the squads now.
@Barag (Comment 4) : will continue to check it out. Your site is just an AWESOME resource for playing TestRugby.
holy moly that is alot of info
On my way to register.
That’s a bit of a bummer!! They have blocked that site at work. Will have to register at home tonight.
@Nessa (Comment 8) : can’t imagine why! π
@robdylan (Comment 9) :
No – beats me!! π
Two things:
– Lucky I am network admin so I can control blocked sites π
– For my blog, I have been compiling stats for quite a while and found some interesting things. I do all the spreadsheet the work for my own team, so thought it might be handy to share it will others. I’m not in the top players of the game anyway so I don’t need to hide my cards π
Barag
@Nessa (Comment 10) :
makes you wonder how many OTHER employees visited the site for it to be deemed necessary to block. π
65 and growing on SB π―
Closest pick points are not going to be easy “pickings” π
@KSA Shark Β© (Comment 13) : yeah baby! Bring it on! Men from boys stuff
Keo also invited me to take part in a comp they launching but I declined!!! πΏ πΏ
@Reds (Comment 15) : Maybe they’re looking for someone to be Snow White? π
@robdylan (Comment 16) : the pl on Keo don’t believe in female supporters and it is even worst if you don’t support the Bulls or the Boks. Gave somebody one day a piece of my mind and was banned. Now they want me to join their stupid comp. πΏ πΏ πΏ
@Reds (Comment 17) : you were banned from KEO? Shit, what on earth did you say to get banned from that place?
@robdylan (Comment 18) :
She’s a foxy Red head…what did you expect?? π
@robdylan (Comment 18) : Sorry I answer you only now but was busy!!!
I went of on some stupid Bulls supporter who thinks his wife should stay in the kitchen and only be close to the tv when rugby is on when she bring his beer. I know u ppl joke about it sometimes but this guy was serious and he called me names for been a Sharks supporter and an AB supporter.. Can’t even remember what I said but after that I could not log on again. But I seriously don’t mind not been allowed there anymore. Most of the ppl on there is mental π π
I’m in on them all..haven’t tried to log in from work yet but supposedly as of next week they are ‘modifying’ the way we access the internet so if I suddenly disappear during the day..that’s why.
My company is pretty much convinced the internet is evil and will not rest until its employees are cut off from the rest of the world during work hours.
Hey I know you guys are very busy putting together your Gay Anthems song book…..but only 7 people playing the Fantasy Rugby Game from this blog?
