Some late-breaking news about changes to the Sharks team for tomorrow night’s match against the Valke in Durban.
Brad Barritt has been passed fit to play and will wear the number 12 jersey. Andries Strauss drops to the bench and young Riaan Swanepoel out of the 22 altogether.
In yet a further injury setback, tighthead prop BJ Botha has been ruled out with a back injury. His place in the starting XV goes to Robbie Harris, although it’s not certain at this stage whether Harris will come straight in at tighthead, or will rather operate in the number 1 jersey with Jannie du Plessis switching back to his preferred position.
No news has been forthcoming on Botha’s replacement in the 22, but it might just be young Melusi “Burra” Mthethwa who gets the nod.
