Man I was expecting a closer tussle than this in Kimberley.
Obviously the Lions are not WP 😉
last year we beat them 28-0 in kimberley…
Or the Sharks for that matter 😳 😆
I only picked the lions by 6 on SB 😳
You have somebody in Kimberley sending you updates, Walter?
I’ve got a guy there that i will phone in a few minutes for the final score
@walter van transvaal.co.za (Comment 7) :
Would be great if you gave us the tries for and against as well so we can get the log updated ASAP 😉
Sounds like the 2nd half was a cracker…Final score 36-32 for the Lions
So the Lions gets 5 points from the game but sounds like they struggled in the 2nd half
Thanks Walter
Any idea on the tries?
I get my margin point 😎
So with that win the lions move into 2nd spot on the Log.
NOT where I would have expected them to be. Mossie makes the difference?
5 points for the lions and 2 for Griquas
27 – 12 for Griquas in the 2nd half, sounds like we got a lucky escape
@walter van transvaal.co.za (Comment 13) :
Our log is automated 🙂 I need to enter the amount of tries for each team and it then updates the points and positions all by itself. Can’t manually manipulate it 😳
6 tries to Griquas and 5 to the Lions according to SaRugby.net
cool thanks

Log Updated
Lions go 2nd
Griquas go 7th
Lovely..its a win and we’ll take it..Are the Lions finally finding their roar!
Griquas are no easy beats thats for sure.
Well done LIONS for scoring 5 points….
Did not win by much but still picked up 5 points…
1st team to do so in Kimberly this year if not mistaken….
I watched the game when it was shown at 20:00…it was a close affair, we killed them in the 1st half, but then in the last 20 minutes we missed a lot of tackles and nearly handed them the match, it was 24-5 at halftime, and then 29-27 at one stage late in the 2nd half…it could have been 29-29 but they didn’t seem to have a kicker on the field..Conrad Barnard was replaced early on, and they only kicked 1 conversion from 6 tries…
