Graeme Henry and his charges are visiting Sydney for the first of three Aus v NZ clashes in this season’s Tri-Nations.
Will the Wallabies use the confidence gained in Perth last weekend?

Aussie!!! Aussie!!!! Aussie!!!!!
Superbru would not let me pick the result as a draw..kept chucking me out..so had to settle for All Blacks by 9.Strange 😕
@CoffeeShopBok;-) (Comment 2) : 😯
Very strange!!!!!!!!
I am stuck in the office today so will not be able to watch 👿
I reckon Aussies will take this!
The AB’s pack is nothing special anymore and with McCaw missing I expect the Aussies to dominate. They will also miss McCaws leadership.
I can’t watch this. 🙁
I see it is on Showsport AND Supersport, but that is of no use to me as neither of those broadcast in my office 😉
I really rate the young Aussie scrummie, Burgess. He does the basics brilliantly. And with a little more experience, his confidence will soar. What a find he has been with Gregan retiring!
Aussies have won.
SA Ref seems to be wanting to payback Thorn for the dump on Smit.
6min
Yellow Card – Thorn is sent off after a high tackle on Giteau
Now THIS is FARKIN rugby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Villie (Comment 7) :
i like him as well.
didn’t have a GREAT game last week but he is a good find
7
Penalty – Giteau opens the scoring with a well-struck penalty.
3 – 0 Aus
@bryce_in_oz (Comment 9) :
Hehehhehe 😀
@KSA Shark © (Comment 12) :
Let’s hope Snor is recording this on his betamax…
YEAH BABY!!!!!!!!!!!
10min
Try – Tuqiri fields another weak New Zealand kick and breaks three tackles as he storms into the 22. The wing flips inside to Sharpe who is able to recycle quickly. The ball goes left and Cross goes over untouched in the left-hand corner.

10 – 0 Aus
@bryce_in_oz (Comment 13) :
I hope it is being re shown this arvie or eveing sometime. sounds awesome
@bryce_in_oz (Comment 13) : PML!!
I had a big bet on the Aussies for this game at 2.7. Have laid it off at 2, so now have a locked in profit no matter who wins! 😆 😆
@KSA Shark © (Comment 15) : Brilliant so far! This Aussie backline is very exciting. Tuqiri on top form so far and Giteau superb at 10!
Craig Joubert was super-strict, maybe even overly so, on the breakdown in the CC.
Is he just as strict here? If so the AB’s must be crying.
Thorn coming back on now!
@Villie (Comment 17) :
Burgess, Giteau is the new Gregan, Larkham IMO
@Villie (Comment 16) :
Good risk/reward bet…
15
The All Blacks tap a full penalty just short of the line, but Ellis’s pass is weak and intercepted by Elsom in contact. The Wallabies escape to halfway thanks to Giteau’s boot.
This really must be the weakest AB pack for many a year. It certainly doesn’t strike fear into opponents anymore. And if we don’t give them a good hiding in SA, then it will be very disappointing!
Aussies are DOMINATING!
Cannot understand why DM would want the AB’s to win this away… he’s fast becoming a nutter!
@bryce_in_oz (Comment 21) : Yeah, I could have left the bet to stand and made a tidy sum if the Aussies won but this way I win (although not as much) no matter which way it goes!
18
Carter charges down a Barnes kick and looks for all the world to be away, but then the All Black star does the unthinkable and kncoks on.
The Aussie loose forwards are also superb. They have the perfect blend of size, raw power and pace!
@bryce_in_oz (Comment 24) :
Still perplexed by that myself.
Everyone else is saying an Aus win would help us.
@bryce_in_oz (Comment 24) : I think he feels it will be easier to beat the AB’s at home once than the Aussies twice!
Try AB’s! What a game!!
24
Try – The Wallabies lose the ball just short of the tryline. The ball goes two wide where Muliani breaks. The fullback kicks ahead at halfway and a three-man chase is beaten by the bounce. Muliaina himself regathers and wriggles over for a try.
Okay guys I have to go now. I’m recording the game and will watch later when I get back! Ciao
Conversion missed.
10 – 5 Aus

@KSA Shark © (Comment 15) :
KSA at 3 and 10 o clock..cracking game!
On another note when WILL the Aussies be pinned for coming in from the side and offsides at the ruck!!
cheating frickin convicts!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Villie (Comment 32) :
Cheers
I don’t recall the ABs having such a shite scrummy..ever!
@CoffeeShopBok;-) (Comment 34) :
cool so i can watch after we have whipped you guys 😆 😉
@KSA Shark © (Comment 37) :

31
Try – Ashley-Cooper grubbers through after a linebreak. Tuqiri and Sivivatu race for the ball and take each other out. Hynes is next in line to score.
@CoffeeShopBok;-) (Comment 38) :
you’d think at my age I woulda learnt that my words come back to bite me quite often, wouldn’t you 😉

Oops seems i missed a try.
39
Try – The All Blacks make good yards using around-the-corner runners next to rucks. Hore is one of them and his run is long enough to make it past the tryline
40
Conversion – The halftime whistle goes.
it’s 17-19 now
Love the early subs from Henry!!Never could see a reason for playing ANYONE for 5 min only!!
Kiwi defence is shocking. Even Rob could have scored that try. 😉
@Big Fish (Comment 47) : I’m a machine, asshole! 😉
try to Big ROCKY! I am doing well in this game from a Fantasy League point of view.
F*ckers… you reckon they’re going to give each other a bonus point, then start playing for the win? Typical “let’s get the Japies” thing…
Work is messing with my social life 👿
44
Try – Carter bumps off Giteau and is straight through. He is brought down just short and Ellis dives over from behind the ruck
45
Conversion
55
Try – The Wallabies come close to scoring twice when both Tuqiri and Ashley-Cooper breaks the line only to be tackled just short. The third break is by Elsom and the flanker runs through to score under the sticks.

That’s the stuff don’t give the Kiwis ANY BP’s.
74
Try – The Wallabies make huge yards with pick-and-drives through and iffish All Black fringe defence. Horwill gets his hands on the ball two metres short and the lock powers over for the fourth try.

AUSTRALIA 34 – 19 NEW ZEALAND
Aus go top of the Log and NZ go 2nd with a better PD than us
Glad to see our “vistors” using our Tri-Nations log 😉
cool – NZ have lost twice. I like it.
We just need to win all 3 at home and it’s ours
@robdylan (Comment 57) :
I think this may go down to BP and/or PD come the end of the series.
awesome game of TEST rugga…. let’s hope OUR individuals… can carry the COACHING team…. AGAIN!!!!!
watch Inside rugga for the non BETAMAX version…dammit!
