Vodacom WP centre Gcobani Bobo has been ruled out of the remainder of the Absa Currie Cup with a shoulder injury.
the Official WP website reports that the injury is a chronic left shoulder injury, resulting in chronic pain, impaired conditioning and playing ability over the last year.
Bobo has been carrying the injury for some time and went to see a specialist on Monday.
At the specialist’s advice and opinion, corrective surgery will be done on the shoulder later this week. This will require a recovery and rehabilitation time of approximately 16 weeks, thus preparing him for the Vodacom Super 14 and being close to match readiness in mid January, in time for the competition.

Hope they give Dylan des Fountain a decent run in 13.
@PaarlBok (Comment 1) :
You sure u not being a ‘little’ biased since he is from Paarl??
I would move the Fijian to 13 and bring Joe Pietersen onto the left wing.
I completely forget about Dylan.
I hear the Fijian was good at centre for the PN Cup and he has always been a centre, but he takes forever to get out the blocks.
Dylan is big and quick…. but hes hands 🙄
Myself always rate des Fountain big time and yes I am biased. Can assure you his & Jeans schoolboy coach rate Dyllie just as high. Think he never had the change to settle in the 13 jersey and yes he and Jean know each other play inside out.
Wont shed to many tears if they shift Sereli to 13 and move Joe in the wings. Dont know how a jean Sereli combo will go.
