The Sharks will host the final of The Absa Currie Cup on 25 October 2008 after their 29-14 win over the Xerox Lions on Saturday. The final will be played at The Absa Stadium Durban after the Sharks ended the pool stages at the top of the log to secure home ground advantage.
The Sharks opponents will be the Blue Bulls who are beat the Free State Cheetahs in the second semi-final which took place in Pretoria.
Tickets for the Final will go on sale at the Ticket Office at The Absa Stadium Durban (located in Walter Gilbert Road) from 8.30am on Monday 13 October and a maximum of 10 per person will be allowed with the selling process strictly controlled.
A limited number of tickets are available due to Season Ticket Holders, Sponsors, Clubs and other Sharks partners taking up their allocation, and will cost R300 in the stands and R150 scholar benches.
Computicket will also have a limited number and people can buy online from 9am on Monday, also with a limit of 10 per person.
There will be further tickets available at Woodburn Stadium in Pietermaritzburg and the Margate Shark Cage.
Season Tickets are valid and holders are not required to validate them before the game and Suite Holders may collect their tickets from Wednesday 15 October onwards.
With the Sharks Under 19s having also beaten their Lions counterparts, they have also reached the final of their tournament, the Absa Under 19 tournament and will host Western Province who beat the Free State 20-18 in the other semi-final.

I am surprised there is no mention of the bulls being allocated tickets.
Maybe the KZNRU learnt from the S14 final, when we were almost outnumbered by the Bulls.
