Cheetahs captain Juan Smith will be available for his team’s clash against the Brumbies in Bloemfontein this Saturday.
Coach Naka Drotské told OFM Sport that Smith, as well as fellow loose-forward Frans Viljoen, will be considered for the Brumbies clash this week.
Viljoen injured his arm against the Reds in Brisbane, the same match in which Smith received a knock to the head which forced him to return home early.
Drotske might consider giving Viljoen a run with Free State side for their Vodacom Cup encounter against the Eagles, while Smith is likely to resume his role as Cheetahs skipper.
Wayne Van Heerden and Hendro Scholtz have done well in the pair’s absence and therefore the coach may allow Viljoen to get some much-needed gametime with the Vodacom Cup team.

What are the chances of a Cheetahs win here?
That’ll throw the cat amongst the pigeons on Last Man Standing. 😆
@KSA Shark © (Comment 1) : I hope they do. 😈
Cheetahs can definitely take this. Must be hard for the Brumbies to focus, considering that one of their own is in a critical condition in hospital.
by more than 12 points, and that they have no kit to play in because it has been swiped!! Just hope their guy come right!! Would be yet another blight on SA, especially seeing that he did not stop immediately
the driver that is 😳
@KSA Shark © (Comment 1) : we all will have to pick cheetahs at some point …
i am actually considering how suicidal am I
and besides I can’t pick Brumbies anymore – they cost me a lifeline a while ago so I figure they owe me 😆
