It does not matter who has won how many matches before today. All that counts is who is in the lead when the final whistle goes.
The Chiefs have a 10/14 record and the Bulls have an 11/14 record for the season going into this game this afternoon. Neither of those stats have any real meaning today.
The Chiefs are at the disadvantages of having travelled halfway around the world, playing the match at a time when their body clocks believe it is 03:30 in the morning, playing at altitude and having very little support in the stadium.
The Bulls have none of these disadvantages and should they get ahead early on they will be carried home by the fanatical home support at Loftus Versveld.

A Small Boy’s Prayer
Dear Lord,
You tell us that we must be humble and gracious so please can you do one thing today?
Please let Stephen Donald score a match-winning try and please make Jonathan Kaplan miss a Chiefs infringement during the play leading up to it. I am asking you to do this so that the Bulls supporters can learn to be humble which will be good for them.
Amen

The Blue offside line is drawn through the middle of the ruck when it is supposed to be the last man’s feet at the BACK of the ruck.

Kirchner stopped just short of the line.

The lions must have watched that and are thinking to themselves.
1) Thank Goodness we aren’t playing the Bulls on tour.
2) PLEASE don’t let there be any bulls in the Bok team.
And on top of this, The 7’s Boks have won the IRB 7s Series for the 1st time. 😎 😎
i dont think the chiefs will be proud, they are probably thinking, what the hell just happened

@KSA Shark © (Comment 92) : match fixing
@klempie (Comment 3) : LOL.
That was very funny.
I think the Chiefs now understand why they should be scared of Loftus!! What an awesome display of Rugby. Now for the boks, I would just pick the Bulls and let the other guys rest for the trinations 😉
@Whindy (Comment 98) : 🙂
@Big Fish (Comment 5) : I agree with you, but the only way to retain talent is to have a decent coach, which leads to success and if a team is successful, then you will have no reason to leave the team, but if you live with the constant promises of three year plans and not even a sniff off success, then like Jaco Pretorius, you will look to further your career elsewhere, even if it means taking a dip in salary, like he did. Springboks do not often come from teams that are not doing well, as they are not able to show their skills!!
