  • I think the Sharks players are hurting after the drubbing they received.

They might just ‘show up’ and perform the way we know they can. 😐

  • Like to see the young guns getting stuck into the Sharks. Cronje, Kritzinger, exct.

See the Galpil Steenkamp now in the lock , maybe overtook Worms then?

That is a real shock to me.

He did however have a decent game against the Force.

Listen Oom, I believe Kritzinger will be playing loosehead this year. I thought he was a tighthead… Wat gaan aan??? 😯

  • To get back to the topic tho, myself think the Stormers have some outstanding youngsters now getting to the big league stage. The Varsity Cup helps us a lot. Just have to look at a player like Juan de Jongh and coaches like Flekkie & Proudfoot. One year ago they still was involved in the Varsity Cup and now on S14 level. Helps if you have two great universities plying their trade in the Varsity Cup.

  • @robdylan (Comment 17) : not personally but watched him since schoolboy (he was Gims capt in matrix) and he sure have talent. His problem is that he swot full time and havent had much extra time for full time rugby, same thing with the current Matie captain and fatty, Lourens Adriaanse. Lourens is now in his final year BRek and its difficult these days to do both. Obvious prioritise and rugby have to play second fiddle. Also saw last night on TV Geo Aplon have 3 subjects left to finish his BRek.

  • @wpw (Comment 41) : Yep , need Hons and then you can write your CA.

@wpw (Comment 39) : Agree, its actually funny the way he got in the WP sqaud. Rob louw told me his Matie connection told him to come and watch Maties matches to see him play when Aplon started. He contact Mallet after saw him play and Mallet had a huge problem with his size like the Joke White syndrome.

Dinamiet kom in klein pakkies and you only measure a rugby players heart, thats the one that count and Aplon have stacks of that.
