The Stormers side to take on a ‘second string’ Bulls side has been announced and there is no room for the ‘Fijian Sleepwalker’ who drops out of the match 22 altogether.
Joe Pietersen makes a welcome return at fullback with Gio Aplon moving to right wing in place of the sleepwalking giant. Bryan Habana also returns on the left wing after recovering from the rib injury he sustained against the Crusaders which means the promising Tim Whitehead moves to the bench.
The last change sees Wicus Blaauw returning to the starting lineup after making a full recovery and takes over from JD Moller who drops out of the match 22 in favour of the versatile Argentinian Eusebio Guinazu.
Here ARE the team:
Stormers: 15 Joe Pietersen, 14 Gio Aplon, 13 Jaque Fourie, 12 Juan De Jongh, 11 Bryan Habana, 10 Peter Grant, 9 Dewaldt Duvenage, 8 Duane Vermeulen, 7 Francois Louw, 6 Schalk Burger (captain), 5 Andries Bekker, 4 Adriaan Fondse, 3 Brok Harris, 2 Tiaan Liebenberg, 1 Wicus Blaauw.
Replacements: 16 Deon Fourie, 17 Eusebio Guinazu, 18 Anton Van Zyl, 19 Pieter Louw, 20 Ricky Januarie, 21 Willem De Waal, 22 Tim Whitehead.

We will definitely be up for this one. I just don’t hope it rains cos then we might not win.
JLP is far superior to Grant in wet conditions!! 🙄
GO STORMERS GO
and win bigggggggggg
😆
You guys should show them the same lack of respect that they`ve showed you. Go in, get the Bonus point try within 20 minutes then start pulling off your big guns one by one . . .
Also you can maybe send up some of your third string guys to niggle guys like Bakkies or Adams that we know should be on the bench for them in the Semi`s. If the Bulls loose their cool and start swinging at you they might get suspended for the finals hehehehe
I hope Stormers watch that match of wp vs Bulls in P town last year again before the weekend. Just to get them nice and worked up for this one. Remember fight fire with fire!
@wpw (Comment 1) : Agreed – rain is bad.

I thought you support the Sharks! 😈 😉
They dropped World Class Vookie??? Shocker!!! 😯 😯 😯
I would have liked it if they gave Whitehead another run and dropped Aplon to the bench – I think he has potential…
@Original Pierre (Comment 5) : Hey – i know. I will be sitting in it too.
He’s dropped enough balls, no reason they can’t drop him 😆

@KSA Shark © (Comment 11) :
If we took stats seriously Luke Watson would have also had a RWC medal!! 🙄 😈
@wpw (Comment 13) : 😀
the bulls are sending their vodacom cup team
@robdylan (Comment 15) :
And the Waratahs will be kaking their panties full.
Maybe Naqelevuki is being rested for the Semis. 😛
@KSA Shark © (Comment 11) :
Awesome post
I never saw his clangers last week ….yet
But i think he has been excellent for the Stormers this year
….surely it is hard to argue with that.
…how do these foreign players qualify for SA teams anyway.
…i think the NZ policy is you have to be eligible for the AB’s
@wpw (Comment 13) :
Luke Watson …maybe a couple of games away from a Guinness Premiership Grand Final Winners Medal. 😯
@Hertford Highlander (Comment 19) :
Luke Watson … 😕
What happened to the D ❓
@Chaz (Comment 20) :
D ❓
@Hertford Highlander (Comment 21) : D = Box 😆
@FireTheLooser (Comment 22) :
So is that…. ‘What happened to the BOX’….. still lost 😕
@Hertford Highlander (Comment 21) : @FireTheLooser (Comment 22) : thats just a nice word to tell you what me meant BOX
@Hertford Highlander (Comment 23) :
you know the Luke Watson (BOX)and surly you know what he did on the green and Gold jersey don’t you 😕 ❓
@Hertford Highlander (Comment 23) :
Okay I”LL say it
Doos is the Afrikaans word for Box pronounced as you would pronounce Poor.
Doos is a euphamism (for want of a better word) for CNUT (my spelling sucks 🙄 🙂
@KSA Shark © (Comment 26) : Was hoping that Chaz was gonna explain, but you’ve done it quite well – a scholar & a gentleman, nogals 😉 Pleeaase, a rofl-smiley will be most welcome

@wpw (Comment 30) : Wil ek ok graag weet 😯
@wpw (Comment 30) : @diablo (Comment 31) : The question should rather be ‘Who approved that pic?’
@Pokkel (Comment 32) : a lover of roses ❓ ❓ 😉
@wpw (Comment 30) : Picture of a D 😆
@Worcestershire Sauce (Comment 34) :
You’re right. Now that you mention it, it does look like Luke with a rose in his mouth!!
@wpw (Comment 6) : But Dude you know I live in Cape Town. Newlands is the only option this weekend. Even for a Vodacom Cup game . . .
@wpw (Comment 30) : @diablo (Comment 31) : Daar n roos op haar…. uhm….. er…. maag.
Just as I was on the verge to find love in my heart for Kallie he goes and…. still upset.
